What do coral even get stressed about?

Current events / As in, the election / U.S.-Russia sanctions / Coral takes one look / at the police officer on trial and bleaches / It’s a wonder coral can live / when black men are dying / through state-sanctioned violence / Coral gets overwhelmed / by misinformation / Coral forgets / all its passwords / The feed replacing coral’s / food source is toxic / Coral goes mindless / Coral gets stuck refreshing / Too many cycles for coral / to keep up with / news cycle / water cycle / nitrogen to filter / spilled industrial garbage / Coral cannot afford health insurance / Coral becomes insomniac / Coral sleeps poorly / when blanketed by volcanic ash

The title and first line (“Current events”) are quoted from a Tumblr exchange between users dicksp8jr and one-hamburger, which has since been immortalized as the meme “Coral stress.”
